Gum shields for kids
I'm having trouble moulding a gum shield for an 11 year old boy as he can't put one in his mouth while it is warm enough to mold.
Anyone got any ideas or recomendations as the gum shield is just falling out as soon as he moves.
Oh, btw I am not battering an 11 year old, the gum shield is for rugby!

Re: Gum shields for kids
I though you could buy different sized one's? I know you used to be able to get ones that you could cut in order to fit the person's mouth. Or you could fork out the $$$ and take your boy to the dentist for a fitted one.
Who is he picking for the RWC final...NZ or France?

Re: Gum shields for kids
He still has some baby teeth so a dentist shield would be a waste of money as his mouth will change soon.
The "boil in the bag" gum shields only seem to come in junior or sizes so I'm going to go get him a Shock Doctor gel one this morning and hope that works.
Oh and he is betting on France but isn't happy about it!

HA! France?
Despite my misgivings due to the amount of times NZ has choked at previous World Cups, I think we may have the edge on the Frogies this time round but we'll see tomorrow.
