Re: Question for Ade.
Indeed Nick,
Ade hails from a lineage unbroken for more than three millenia. Ever since Ook Bosworth crawled forth from the primordial ooze, the Bosworths have been pre-eminent in High Society.
How do you think Ade got that sweet sweet gig of Moderator on this forum?
(Ade is Bosworth the Third, as the lineage was rebooted some years ago for taxation reasons).

Re: Question for Ade.
Far be it for me to subvert a serious thread where Ade asked this:
Ade: As an ex-psychobilly, you obviously have "interesting" ideas about fashion. Do you still dress like a member of The Cramps?

p.s.and Soc,what exactly is wrong with robes and unusual facial hair?

Re: Question for Ade.
When I was a goff in Small Town England in the 80s, the psychobillies were to a man completely batshit insane!

Re: Question for Ade.
yeah, insane seemed to be par for the course i think, gigs got very physical!....i drifted back toward the punk scene in maybe '82...that seemed very chilled by comparison
and there's a nice reference to one of my favourite songs from around that time

Re: Question for Ade.
Ha psychobilly was fun.
I got two ribs broken dancing at a Meteors gig once so "physical" sums it up nicely.
Heads up: Sundays 8pm BikerFM The Pyschobilly Show.
There is a great pyschobilly scene now and some excellent bands about.
I went to the barbers last week and sat in the chair, the barber asked what I wanted so I said "Can I have my flat top back and showed him a photo of my younger days.
He looked expressionless at me and said "No, baldy"

Re: Question for Ade.
So basically to be a moderator on here you need to be an ex-psychobilly?
I remember the Meteors had one of the least romantic songs of all time. Didn't it go: "I think of you when I wank at night?"

Re: Question for Ade.
No,no Soc,you only have to be an ex-psychobilly to acheive Admin status.we're much less stringent when it comes to Moderators. That's more based around Self-Protection experience and knowledge....which leaves Pete and myself free to listen to loud music and jump around a lot
p.s. !
