Method of theft
Subject: VIDEO FROM ESSEX POLICE . . WATCH AND BEWARE. SO SIMPLE. SO EFFECTIVE.
Read the spiel before starting the video
The three in the video got away with £350 in a matter of
seconds and the cashpoint user did not know for some time that his cash
had been stolen.
The theft happened in High Road, Loughton in August and the method is
thought to have been used around the county in other previously
unexplained thefts from ATMs.

Re: Method of theft
Slick and quick. I saw a clip today of a carjacker. He ties cans to the bumper so when the driver drives off, the cans rattle and they get out to check what made the noise. They leave the door open, keys in and engine running and the thief, lurking nearby, jumps in and drives off. The victim usually doesn't even see the thief. I am trying to figure out how to post a copy of the vid. Point being while we are all experts and it would never happen to us . .. you can see how quick the thieves are and how 'natural' their set ups are. You really need to be switched on to not have a momentary lapse and be a victim. Perry
