Kelly McCann

So, Mr McCann and I finally got to meet. He brought his son down to look at a local campus and swung by the shop for a chance to meet, break bread and get tattooed.

I am happy to say that everything they say about him is true and then some. This is a no-nonsense seriously bad mofo who I am glad to be able to call a friend.

I've been invited back to The Crucible to do some more tattoos and hang out which I am looking forward to and we're also talking some joint projects down the line.

If you haven't got his stuff yet it comes highly recommended and I can add my endorsement to all the ones I've heard from everyone else over the years.

Nick, as my eye for the artistic leaves a little to be desired : would you mind telling me, what the writing says ( hey, at least I was able to identify the knuckleduster )?

I've just got back from my seminar in Philly and 2 days at the crucible chewing the fat with Kelly and slinging ink on him and some of his stalwart crew. I asked him what it was and it's Thai for "Muy Thai." So now you know.

Thanks mate, I feel much better now, since not being able to read Thai is much less-embarassing than being an art-doofus.
