Just found this on Youtube, its very interesting

better than a lot of the bareknuckle/gypsy guff you seen online.
Pretty good boxing skills displayed.

Apparently in Traveler communities the rules are, once your opponent is knocked down you leave him be, its a fair fight ! but these guys also beat each other with hammers and machete's which don't seem fair, but thats just me

From what I understand of the hostory of this is that it indeed a arranged sporting event. its basically a boxing match but without gloves and was intended to be that way. It was pre arranged with no vendettas as a spectators event.

The bloke in the black vest has been campaining to get bare knuckle boxing legalised and this is the first legal bout in over 100 apparently.
