Hi guys
my sincere apologies for my absence, lots of reasons, all personal and domestic amd a bit SDF influenced.

My long term partner (Carol) and myself parted company a few weeks ago (sadly) and although I am hopeful of a reconsiliation, I am currently residing at my father's.. no internet connection (I have been using the local library) and I have had to purchase a cheap PC just to keep up with the SDF admin.
The 'Your Guardians' Projects that we are in Talks with the Home Office with, have taken up lots of time, as have some new (and hopefully exciting) projects my Organisation The SDF have recently started have also taken up lots of time.. really busy and exciting right now the SDF

what with the instructing, the Instructors Diploma Courses, the extra travelling it has all incurred, meant I simply didnt have the time to get on ANY forums at all.. for which I apologise

Hopefully I will keep in touch on here again now, but cant guarantee the degree of time committment I used to have at my disposal

Hope you guys are all well anyway

Good to have you back, Dave.
Commiserations on your current situation. Many have been there at some time in our lives, that's the sad way of the world we live in now. However, things will sort themselves out and will get better and I'm sure you've been through tough times before and come out OK at the other end.

Regards

HI guys and thanks for the welcomes..

Nothing though from that bloody Brian S (ha ha)

Your Guardians is a sub division of the SDF designed more for corporate and general public/education customers really .
We work alongside the Institute of Conflict Management and do work for the Home Office Immigration bunch.
We have also designed and devised a programme known as K.A.P (Knife Awareness Programme) .. This we intend taking into EVERY educational establishment throughout England & Wales.
It has been examined by the 'Serious Crime Unit' of the Home Office and by three Chief Constables (and indeed several Divisional Commanders)

We also have strong links with the Royal Armouries Leeds running alongside their own 'No To Knives' campaign.

On the corporate side we do lots of Conflict Managment and Threat awareness and evaluation tutorlals, as well as 'custom' designed programmes for several other organisations.

it is a side of the SDF that is mainly in the hands of two of my TOP guys .. namely Karl Blackwell (one of my 6th Dans) and Steve Mohammed (one of my 3rd Dans) .. my role is 'Senior Consultant' for Your Guardians'

We are currently in talks with the Home Office regarding funding for our anti-knife stuff, and will be launching the nationwide programme as soonas we get the go-ahead'

We have a new website for your guardians but it is still in the developing stage, hence lack of publicising it.. however there is some stuff on there if you care to have a look

www.yourguardians.co.uk

thanks for asking
