Snakepit, Hookers, and Helio
Hi Dave,
I wanted to stir your encyclopedic historical knowledge.
I know there was a time (in his prime) when Helio Gracie was challenging fighters world over (Kimura in Japan, Joe Lewis in the US, etc etc).
Did he ever roll with any of the Catch wrestlers or hookers of that time?
I'm curious.
Not from a "BJJ is the Ultimate Unbeatable Etc" shite, but Helio was quite a fighter, quite an athlete, and had loads of heart and technique, and I'm wondering if he ever made his way over.
JK
