90 % vegetarian diet
Hi Dave,
I was wondering if you could touch a little more on the 90% vegetarian diet you mentioned i.e. 4 fruit / veg meals and 1 protein?
This is a diet I have followed (loosley) for a month or so due to wanting to eat as much raw food as possible but i also understand the need for protein and also I like meat etc.
Do you think it is possible to build muscle eating like this? I don't want to be a body builder, but i want to have a little to show.
How much protein would you suggest should be consumed in the 1 protein meal to build muscle and what sort of effect on a physique would this sort of diet produce, do you think it would effect strength gains?
I appreciate these questions could have multiple answers depending on the person doing the diet and the type of workouts being done etc, but I'd still really appreciate to hear any thoughts you have on it.
All the best
Marc
