Hi Nick.

Just wanted to say thanks for the tips on how to get the chin ups and most of all pull ups, going.

Today I did it. I'll keep it going now bounce

Thank you! Smile

Glad it worked...let me know how it goes. I'm going to build a chinup bar in my back yard myself...time to get back into them.

Hey Nick what were those tips? I could use some, because I reached a plateau in pull ups, can't seem to improve much.

Hi Smile

Nick - I will. Good luck with your chin bar, will you let me know how that goes? (Do I see a challenge coming up! ? affraid Laughing)

Atmos: Here's a link to the topic on this forum, where Nick gave a very simple advice:

And here is another one from the internet, that I like, for those who got a bit further than me Wink - it seems ok:

I hope you didn't mind me posting those links, Nick...
Take care,

Nick, some exercise that might help your discs and lower back. Hold on the chinning bar than slowly pull the knees to your chest. Work the abs really good and give the back a nice stretch. After some practise you can go faster with the pulling movement.

This exercise is also called frog-kicks...

Maybe it helps in my case it was pretty good really hurt my back and discs while kicking...
