Good session on Saturday Dave, lots to take away and think about.
I'm starting to see why training hands on with a partner is going to be progressively more and more difficult!

If you imagine training the reality of the mindset that we have discussed recently. The effective completion of technique with that mindset and correct projection of aggressions makes it very, very difficult to execute without running the risk of putting training partners out of action.
Receiving that level of violence and aggression takes its toll in a very real way. You can and should mitigate through correct use of impact shields and pads but the damage done is still very real and any slips will result in considerable injury. Factor in the aspect that the person delivering the aggression has to largely leave the recipient to look after themselves and it makes for exciting times.
