Secondary Effects of Dukan

Hi All!

I trust all is well, I'm still lurking.....

My Mrs has been on Dukan diet, and while I think diets are a load of old tosh, I've pretty much lost all my belly just through nibbling at her diet stuff. Such as, a funny bread made out of basically just eggs, natural yoghurt and wheat bran.

Not that I'm promoting this bobbins, just saying that if anyone's other half is on this diet, maybe substitute bread for her "dukan bread" and such like

whatever works mate...whatever works. Congrats on the weight loss. I dropped a bunch myself when I was getting ready for "Deadliest Warrior."

Duken is just atkins low carbs with a little twist to make it 'new & exciting'

i am doing low carbs to prepare for a operation where my weight or (lack of it) will help recovery.

side effects are 'dragon breath' and massive night time leg cramps due to lack of nutrients....... but!!! the weight is falling off me. hopefully I will lose my target of 2 stone in 5months

It's not like I'm actually "doing" the diet, it's just because her indoors is, and I'm losing the fat without even trying :-)

It's more hassle cooking two seperate meals, so hey, if she's having "dukan pizza", heck, I'll have one... (with a couple of cold beers)

it's amazing the effect of just tweaking your habits a little, not easy I know, especially for someone like me who is obsessed with cooking and grub etc ..
