facebook has a lot to answer for ..people simply post stuff on there and dont go as much on forums
we have our own association members forum on www.asmaa.org.uk .. yet many ASMAA members dont go on there but I ended up with 700 'friends' on facebook from ASMAA members.
very few of these actually even go on their own association forums
there is a place for both of course..

Most likely over watching someone else be "critiqued" on another well known forum, shame really, as some of the articles are really good, only to be spoiled by the usual suspect !

sadly some contributers want to use forums to promote themselves or their egos, so when they dont get the feedback they want.. they go
the other things, sad but true, is that Facebook will get more people than ANY forum, and that most relevent topics have been 'done to death'
as the forum is primarily about self-defence and the martial arts, with a chunk of physical training added, we are limited as to the number and variety of topics.
after all we arent for example a 'dog breeding' forum etc etc etc.. so the topics are quite narrow in choice.
still a good place though, and both Chris & Ade are good people
