I don't usually think it's ever justified to kick someone when they're down, but I think it could be considered "reasonable force" in this case.

No it was in Evil Dead two at the end. In army of darkness he reaplaced his stump with a gauntlet which he somehow made into a prosphetic hand that works (?) h then just uses the chainsw like an ordinary chainsaw.

Ha, classic films. Every time I go shooting I can't help but say "Groovy" every time I pull my shotgun out of its case.
