real world article.

Hi folks,

Interesting and frightening article from my local paper. What are your thoughts on how she defended herself? I was interested that she chose to hit him in the stomach first, i wonder why this was?

Mate...you have to be wary of what papers report. I've had a ton of press over the years and can literally count on one hand the reporters who've actually reported accurately what we talked about.

In the article for example it says the guy approached from behind and put the knife to her neck and later says "he came from behind but she saw the knife pointing at her which is when she elbowed him." Try that one for yourself...have someone point a knife in the back of your neck, turn around so you can see it while they're doing this and then see if an elbow works...it doesn't...at least not the way described.

All we can be relatively sure of is a guy with a knife had a go at her and she got into with him and prevailed which is good stuff.
