Some of you guys have asked me about tattoos over the years (both here and on Geoff's forum)...just to let you know I am back slinging ink again part time here in Charlotte. Will probably move to the beach and open up a full time studio before too long.

Craig, thanks mate.

I ran the number one shop in Charlotte for eight years

http://www.acecustomtattoo.com/

I even get a mention in the history link...and you may know of Rodney Raines (been featured in a slew of tattoo magazines over the years) who was my top artist at the time I sold the business to him.

I've seen them done (I personally won't tattoo hands, faces or feet) but the problem with them is they don't hold up well. Hands sweat an inordinate amount and the acids in the sweat tend to eat away at the ink over time, especially on the inside of the fingers...so, you may see some of it forever, and the rest vanishing over time.
