Hi Dave
Looking through MAI and saw a couple of letters regarding you and Bruce lee! So what's your problem with him then eh ? The man is a god!
Where would the martial arts world be withou him!
I mean just because you have been training longer than he lived, you think you can come out with comments like this.
Sorry Dave, could not resist having a joke at that.
But i did want to congrat you on your "Keeping it Real" award from Bob Sykes and Martial Arts Illustrated.

Cheers Stu
Hell you know me mate.. I say it like I see it..
the problem with fans is that its almost impossible to say anything that isnt god-like praise and not be castigated for it.
And as always, theres masses of mis-quotes and mis-interpretations.
C'est la Vie!
Yes the 'award' was a total surprise.. hope the Bruce Lee fan club don't lobby MAI to take it back off me Ha ha

Think your going to have to move house Dave.
Those Bruce lee fans can be a bit obsessive.

Wow i might get shot now but I dint really find Bruce Lees movies that good.
Might just me being from a different generation, I much prefer something like ONG BAK now that was good.
By the way i dont doubt Mr Lees martial art abilities but just didnt like the movies

Re: MAI
I think they were great films in the seventies. They haven't really stood the test of time I suppose. Bruce certainly caused a stir though! How many of us would be into all this malarkey if we hadn't seen either his films or someone else's who was inspired by him?
